The Emperor Has no Clothes
Ok, he might still have clothes but chances are it's not Gap and probably Zara. Per the UK Guardian:
Spanish fashion chain Zara has expanded so rapidly in recent months that it has overtaken its main US rival Gap to become the world's largest clothing retailer. Beloved by proponents of fast-fashion, Zara has spread its reach across the world at a time when Gap has suffered from plummeting consumer spending in the US.
I mean...ouch. Inbev just bought Budweiser. Half of our banks are funded by the Saudi's, Japanese and Chinese. Speaking to my point of declining American power in all aspects - political, economical, and cultural. Globalization is a bitch!
